Many months ago, back around the time of the HHGTTG movie coming out, I commented in purpleacv's journal about how I thought Bob Newhart would make an excellent Arthur Dent. Newhart's style of dry humor and ability to play those essential bewildered aspects of the role still make him an ideal choice in my mind.
